Brenda has long been a favorite of mine, ever since I discovered her Easy Patterns book. I always look for anything she has a hand in. Her blog is a daily read and she is a fabulous photographer. I left a comment on her blog that I would congratulate her when I'm done mourning, LOL. I wish her the best but selfishly wish she weren't going anywhere. Alas, I will continue to stalk her blog...

I got a chance to meet her at CKC St. Louis. She was the only instructor who I felt really taught me things during class. She's so knowledgeable. I will miss her, her blog is great though!

Thanks for letting us know...Brenda will definitely be missed. I love her articles in CK and I TA'ed a couple classes with her a few years ago. Super nice lady!!

i am sad too. i just discovered her blog yesterday and that's the first thing i read. i have her book and love her ck column. however, working in a fast pace demanding job like ck mag, i understand her decision. so, thank goodness for blogs, we can still stalk her

Good for her. I am happy she is following her heart. I gave up the design teams I was working on because my life was calling me and I have never been happier. She will be missed but she says she will still be scrapping and I will still be reading her blog.
