Just want to thank all of you ladies so much....

For all the love, support, hugs and encouragement you continually give to me. It means so incredibily much to me. Really....It has been such a roller coaster ride.
I am having surgery next week to remove all of the lymph nodes under my left arm. I will recover a few weeks and then start the "clinical trial chemo." I will go through about 4 months of treatment. I should be done with it all by June. The side effects will be rough. I am in for some hard months but I know that God is with me through each step of this journey and I know I will get through this.
I have so many people praying for me and I am so confident that this will work. The Dr. is giving me a 65-80 percent survival and I'll take those great odds. I have never been so scared....but I want you to know that my family, friends, church, CKMB girls and my work have been so supportive. A simple "Thank you" doesn't seem like enough....but I am thankful and just love you all so much!
I will keep you girls posted and when I know my surgery date I will let you all know.

Love to you all and hugs.......Leslie

No need to thank us. I wish we could do more. Keep your chin up. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers daily.

{{{Leslie}}} I've been jumping in here on and off all day, looking for an update from you. Try not to be scared...your doctors will be doing everything in their power to heal you, and God is with you too as you know.

And who knows, you might sail through the chemo!! When I was doing chemo in Salt Lake City, I met quite a few people (there were usually 10-12 of us in the room at the same time, all hooked up to our IVs..and we'd all chat for two hours LOL)...I met quite a few people that had not had ANY side effects whatsoever from the chemo. It was rough on me, but it is different for everyone, remember that.

You are always in my thoughts and prayers, Leslie. If there is ANYTHING I can do for you, just ask. And remember: I am only a phone call away. :)

More {{{HUGS}}} to you...

Leslie, you are such a caring, giving person, you never have to thank us for caring about you. You will continue to be in my prayers. The odds seem good to me, I am confident you will pull through this. Hugs.

Hey, Leslie,

Maybe you could get the email address or phone of someone from here and pass it along to your DH (and suddenly, I am feeling like a fool because I am not 100% sure that you have one) or other family member so he or they could keep that one person updated, and that person can update here.

I only mention it because we will all want to know how your surgery goes, and you will probably be out of it for a bit after the fact.

Great idea Em! I will do that and have DH keep that person updated so you all will know. Thanks.
