help! which cricut?

Postby almightyhope on Thu Oct 14, 2010 8:42 pm

Hello, my name is Hope and I am currently looking into buying a Cricut machine. I originally had decided that I was going to get the Create, but then started looking at the Expression. Does anyone have any advice for me? Or maybe some useful info on the differences between the two? Im just not sure if I should spend the extra money if I'm not going to be using all thje features on the Expression. I make cards and things of that nature. Thank you so much for your input!

Hi Hope,
I'm sorry I can't be of more help to you but here is what I can tell you. I have an expression and as a papercrafter, and not just a scrapbooker, I appreciate the fact that I can cut 12 X 12. The first thing that comes to my mind is envelopes! I love making cards....probably more than scrapbooking.

I am also a teacher, so the flexibility of being able to cut bigger things is always a thought.

When I first told my husband that I wanted a cricut, I told him that a small one was all I needed....well, he took it upon himself to get the "Bigger, better" one! Typical man huh? But I am so glad he did it!

When you do get a cricut, I suggest going to you tube and doing a search for "my pink stamper". The lady who makes these videos is named Robyn and she does some really great tutorials!

Have fun Hope!
