November 8th Sketch Challenge

Here it is. I know at times card design can be one of the hardest things. Well, look around you. Companys pay alot of money on package design. I came up with this week's sketches from the Jif peanut butter label.

So, the challenge is create a card, tag, scrapbook page using sketch 1, sketch 2 or sketch 3. If these sketches don't work for you ...... you can still play along but your sketch must be from a product label and you need to post a pic of your inspriration label.

I can't wait to see what you create. I'll be posting my card later today.

Hi Traci! Pretty awesome idea! You are so right about finding sketch ideas on labels. One of my favorites is the Campbell soup label. I have used that one more than once. Never looked at my jar of Jif though. Awesome sketch and really clever idea for the sketch challenge.

I do that too - product labels, magazine pictures, web site layouts, signs I see in stores. Inspiration really is all around if you just look at things with the right eye. Great idea Traci. I will see what I can do.

What a clever idea! I for one had never considered looking on labels and things for ideas - I'm definitely going to have time to do this challenge this week - whew - I feel like I haven't participated in forever!

Yay I did one! I think I might even play around with some labels I find around the house - how fun! (I used the 3rd sketch - err.. the 3rd sketch down, labeled sketch 1 lol)
