That dove I used on my card for Barbara's challenge last week is an Inkadinkado clear stamp. They are usually much nicer than the Studio Gs. Anyway, for a buck, you ought to try one. If you still think it sucks, you aren't out much.

I also heard that Stazon works better. When I tried clear before, I'm sure I used my SU ink pad. You're right, for a buck I would definitely try it, if I found that snowman/snow globe. :D

Did you get some Memento ink to use with the Copics? I have always had good luck using that with the clear stamps. I couldn't remember if you ever got any of that or not.

I am out of luck.... I rode to town tonight with DH...Michaels and Joanns son't have them.

Jenny - I have found I have to prep my clear stamps. Before when I didn't I only got smudged images. Basically, it is rubbing them with an eraser. Here is a you tube on it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0_n7ksWaAQ.

Okay, let me throw my two cents in. I have never had a bit of trouble with any of the dollar clear stamps. The only clear stamps I've had such issues with has been the larger, higher dollar ones. Some of those are awful. Not mentioning any names, but I'll never buy another thing from MSE.

Ok...I'll mention names... hee-hee
I have had trouble with half of the MSE ones I bought...thank goodness they were one clearance. Also, I bought several Technic Tuesday I hate most of them.... I would guess 75% of them smudge. No cean image....Sad I spent a bunch on them....it was my first convention and they took a good portion of my cash. I still have 2 sets unopened..... I'll never buy them again.

Although, I have papertrey ink....several sets and I have never had trouble with them. I ove the sets they have.

You are right...not all stamps are equal.

Personally. I think I am liking the rubber mounted cling stamps. I wish SU had them as an alternative.

My Sentiments Exactly. I wouldn't be half as ticked with them if they'd done anything. I emailed them, they said they would replace the set, asked for address and everything, but nothing ever happened. So, really bad customer service on top of dollars spent for a set that doesn't work properly. No thanks. I'll save my dollars for a company that stands behind their product, or at the very least does what they say they will do.

Interesting that Traci has had bad luck with their sets also.

I saw these at Archiver's when I went a couple of weeks ago, but the snowflake is the only I bought. I don't like to use the more solid stamps. I'd rather get the ones where you color in the lines. Just my own preference. LOL! ~Bev~
