Just want to thank all of you ladies so much....

Hi Leslie!

First of all, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers and what a blessing that you have such a wonderful support system around you (this mb, church, family, friends, etc). You are a fighter and you can win this battle!

I wanted to let you know a couple of websites you might want to check out to keep your wonderful support system posted on your progress. Then your husband could put all the info in one place and anyone with your info (you will have to sign up with a login name at either of these) can get updates and leave messages. There is CaringBridge.org and carepages.com. Your hospital probably is affiliated with one of them, or possibly another similar website. A friends mother just had surgery and she created a site for her mom on CaringBridge.com and she said it has been an awesome way to keep everyone posted about her mom, especially people not directly connected to their family like co-workers, church friends, etc. It's great because you can post supportive messages to the patient and family as well and everything is in one place. Your husband would only have to post updates on that site and not have to email or call a big group of people.

Just thought I'd share this with you. Again, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I hope that will tolerate the chemo extremely well and I wish you every blessing during this journey!

Hugs,

Michelle

Just remember to let your loved ones take care of you!!! It's so hard to let go and let others take over your responsibilities, but this is the time for you to rest and heal. I see so many women put the family's needs, the laundry and the house first. No matter what, don't do it!!!!! They and it will still be there when you're back on your feet.

I'll be thinking of you during your surgery and through the chemo process. And let me be the first to offer: if you do feel sick from the chemo and you can't eat and lose too much weight, I'll be right there to give you a fat transplant. I've got plenty to spare!! Just call and I'll fly on over :D

Seriously, if you're ever feeling blue and need to cry, vent, yell, curse or whatever, we're all here for you, night and day. And of course we'll all be here to celebrate with you when you beat this!! :D

Hi Leslie, You are a very strong woman with an amazing support system all around you; including the ladies here on the MB. These girls are a powerful prayer group. It's been wonderful to talk to you this week. Tonight when I called, I "heard" a relief in your voice that wasn't there before. I am so glad the appointment with the Specialist went well. It was great to hear your eating has improved. I know how glad you will be to get the surgery over & start your recovery. With your faith, the comfort & care surrounding you there, & the power of prayer; I believe you will beat those odds. Take good care of yourself.

Hugs & Love,
Sharon
