Can we discuss the SLICE? What do you think?

I think the tool has some great possibilities as others have mentioned. Its too bad that they put the price at $149. But if they keep the SD cards down at the $20 level then it would be reasonable in the long run.

Sometimes I think we all want "more" for the money so being able to get 5" or 12" letters seems really great. But in reality, how many times do we actually use anything that big?

The size and portability is really nice. Storage would be a breeze and SD cards would be really handy.

Also, being able to download fonts and shapes yourself onto the SD card and then cutting them out! Its like have a slightly smaller little bug and a silhouette combined!

I think it has great possibilities!

I was thinking that if placement is easy and it really cuts where you want to on your paper then it would be great for making those pages where all the squares and circle are already cut for you and then their was a cordinating color that was cut larger so it was instantly mated can't think of the brand name always got them at conventions. Hopefully you know what I mean then ;you just added your pictures It may be a dated look but makes for easy pages and with all new type of embellishments it could have a completely different look.

I always think how I'm going to use things before I buy and yous made think about if it was really going to be easy for paper placement.

Hi Jan, I remember seeing it before. Also, wasn't it a different color? I believe it was also going to be marketed by another Company, Tinnus.

If I can cut the fonts I load to it, then it is a winner for me, that is all I want the Sillouette for! and for half the price of it.
Do the 150 bucks include a card?

Aside from the other cons I've read, I don't like that it only cuts one letter or shape at a time. I love typing in what I need cut and working on something else while it does the job. And since I don't go to crops, the size really isn't something that will entice me to buy it as an addition to what I already have.
