CRITICISM IS NOT DISRESPECT
Would you prefer that I express my criticism by never purchasing "Creating Keepsakes" again? I tried to find a place on your website to email "Creating Keepsakes" about my disappointment with the new CK, but there isn't one. There doesn't seem to be an area in the new "Creating Keepsakes" for writing letters to the editor any more, either. You seem to be making it awfully difficult for your readership to contribute their opinions about the magazine for which they pay. I thought this month's issue was much better than prior issues and was actually somewhat relieved. Then I logged on and saw CK's opinion of their readership's opinion. Who is being "disrespectful" to whom? Instead of addressing these concerns CK seeks to stiffle them? To quote the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wiz: "Don't nobody bring me no bad news..." Well, it is your website and your perogative. Have at it. Guess what? I don't have to purchase your magazine. Have a nice day.

IMHO, this would be a great thread to just let die. CK provided a forum to allow readers to express their opinion of the new CK, and I don't think anything new is probably going to be said at this point. Trust me, they are listening to what we're saying, but don't expect to see changes right away. Since CK is already asking for submissions for summer and fall issues, I assume a lot of the content for the mag is set for the next few months. If you don't see changes by July, that would be a good time to start a new thread. Remember, scrapping is our hobby, and we do it for fun. Don't let yourself get all tied up in knots about it! Cheryl

I wish that there would a section for reader submissions that was substantial: 5 or 6 pages. I think that where the best ideas come from.

girls instead of saying what you don't like, what kind of layouts do you want to see? or what things do you want to see? I haven't kept with this, i just scanned the thread... i'm not one to get in the middle of these things but i had to ask...

Personally, i think it would be neat to start seeing more freestyle and artsy layouts. I think that would break the spell. It will be fresh and a nice change.

Oooo, Oooo, Oooo! That would so be me too, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I have submitted and/or put in the gallery plenty of that kind of LO and the only response I get is kind words from MB members...but no calls to publish! LOL
