Sigh...now I'm gonna have to go to the doctor and ask for him to remove my tattoo of Imogen Heap wearing Converses and drinking Absolut. Thanks a lot. 8)

You want uncool? Right now, I'm listening to "Passion" by Rod Stewart.

Even the President needs passion!
I went to a T-Shirt factory, and all I got was this lousy keychain.

Glad I could be of service! :D

And seriously, Rod Stewart could never be uncool! Cheesy maybe, but never uncool!

2. Maybe I like teddy bear stamps! Ever thought about that?!?!

3. That article struck a pet-peeve nerve with me, so here goes:

Dear person in their 20's who thinks that having a tattoo, listening to Imogen Heap, wearing Converses, and collecting Absolut paraphenalia makes you different:

You're not. Everyone under 30 has a tattoo. Everyone listens to Imogen Heap. Everyone wears Converses. Everyone loves the Absolut bottle. When I go out at night, I can't spit in the air without hitting a Scene Kid who wears his mama's leggings and flat-irons his hair for the sake of "indiviuality." Imagine a kid in the 1980's who thinks that his moussed hair and loud neon shirts make him stand out in the crowd. That's you--you're the 2008 version of him.

Sincerely yours,
Christina the Conformist

I also second your "ain't my pinup" sentiment! In addition to that, there are some of us who still like the "old school" scrapbook supplies/tools (we just may not happen to use them in the "old school" ways) so I don't think she should be putting us down as though we're on our way out.

The scrap industry has become a Billion dollar industry. It has produced stars and the hall of fame can launch someone's career. Winning it can mean a lot of endorsements not to mention book deals or consulting. Is it any wonder there have been people who have tried to cheat? I am not giving KC any sympathy here, cheaters always get caught. But what she is using is the old "it's everyone else's fault- they always try to shoot down the artist" defense. It just didn't work this time. Alison

Most newspapers will buy freelance articles to fill space, just because the LA Times printed it doesn't mean they employ the reporter who wrote it.

The article is also on page 4 of the Chicago Tribune. It was written by a reporter for the "Tribune Newspapers" from N.Y.

If, as the article states, she stopped scrapbooking, it's too bad she can't keep her mouth shut also!!! Also "I, seriously, was the Lindsay Lohan of scrapbooking"- look where Lindsay is now!!! Julie

edit: I just read the LA article and it is different then the Chicago Tribune article. The Trib article is much shorter and it states that she quit scrapbooking. The LA article ends with her scrapping into the sunset!!
