Yes, CKMB minus Erin = something I'm not happy about. We miss you!

Ladies. I'm sad to report that I have quit. Three weeks or so ago. My choice. I've been trying to find a diplomatic way of saying why, but I think you can all read between the lines and see my motivation. We'll just leave it at that.

I start a new job today packing and shipping orders for a friend who has an online scrapbook store. She needs somebody who knows product and scrapbooking. Think she found her girl. Just for a little mad money, kwim? Going to be doing etsy here soon too as well. There will be a blog, but taking a little time off from that. Give me about three weeks to a month and then go looking for http://www.erinlincoln.typepad.com or http://www.erinmlincoln.typepad.com depending on what is available. It will mostly be about little projects around the house, etsy, and some papercrafting things. And, of course, hoping an awesome opportunity falls in my lap when I'm ready for it.

This board really has never been about me and what I bring to it. It's always been enjoyable because of the lovely ladies who participate here. Although I deeply appreciate all the comments, I'm a little embarrassed about them as well. You all give me too much credit. I'll be messing up my Stars Wars quotes here I'm sure (don't really care for the darn movies), but wasn't it Yoda who said "The force is with you"? Couldn't have said it better myself.

Ciao! It's been a fun three years. Just time for me to move on.

I am sure we can all understand that life moves on. I am missing you too but I am happy for your new endeavor. I can't wait for the new blog. I will be checking. Let us know the online store, maybe we can give you and your friend some business!

Erin, Thanks for the SAD update. I think we have all kinda been expecting it. I wish you the best in whatever you do. And THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for doing a blog. I truly miss popping on the CKMB and seeing what fun/creative things you have come up with. I will be HAPPILY watching for your upcoming Blog. You are truly a wonderful creative person and I will miss you! You state you appreciate all the kind comments - they are well deserved. For me, part of your "charm" is you come accross so approachable/honest/human. By that I mean, here you are a scrapbooking celebrity, and you let us get a sneak peak at your life/creativeness. You are honest-telling us IF something went wrong in a project and what to avoid to help us make our projects succeed. (not sure that came out right-you can tell I will NOT be contemplating writing a book!!!heheheheh) This is just not coming out like I had hoped!!!! Just THANK YOU, Erin for being YOU!

I'm Sad that you will not be our Hostess but I will look forward to following your creativness on you blog.

This just sucks, but as someone else mentioned we all suspected something. I wish you well in all of your endeavors. Know that whatever you do you have a base of anxiously waiting fans who will STALK the internet for your new blog!
