Photo software

Just got a digital camera...I have used film for years and finally decided to go digital. So does anyone have any suggestions on software for organizing my photos. Is there anything out there that "tags" people so I can look them up by their name?

Picasa by Google is pretty good! I know a lot of people who use this[http://picasa.google.com/features.html]

I use PhotoShop Elements. It lets you tag (multiple tags per pic, if you want) and edit the photos. I've heard, also, that Picasa is great.
