Graduation gift ideas for boy?

I have two cousins (both male) graduating next week - anyone have a simple gift idea that a 18 year old boy would appreciate?

I saw a lady buying up several of the foam matress pads at Target one day and asked her what for? Graduation gifts, she said. "Those dorm matresses are not known for being all new!"

One I have used with success - make a locker type card and then fold an amount of cash into a t-shirt and tuck into the card. Sometimes cash is more appreciated unless you are certain of what the young man will be doing next fall (or have been lucky enough to have a list from his mom )

Money! That way they can get what they need for college or save it for other "grown up" expenses.

Both of my boys are graduating this year. I am stumped just as much as you are. What do kids not have now days? We can't afford a car never the less two of them. Any goods ideas? Please share...............

How about a gift basket that includes misc. items they would like. Boys going off to college: laundry basket full of boys favorite snacks, football, gas card, Axe body soap/shampoo, towels, etc. Could be big or small depending on what you want to spend and what you think they need.

My mom did something similar to that a few times. She got a laundry basket with towels, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and a roll of quarters.
