This is an all digital layout. I wanted to do something different and this song just kept hanging in my head (esp. after I looked at the kit!) so.....seeing how I love using masks and especially those like the word masks so I decided to create one just for this page! (words and star included)
Using Robyn Gough's Starry Skies Page Kit I was able to create this dreamy scene. I love the colors and elements too - I added the word 'just' and altered the word art title to say 'dream' instead of 'dreamer'. When I was younger I really loved this song - and still do! (by Don McClean; I only used the first and last paragraphs)
Journaling:
"Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue and grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills,
Sketch the trees and the daffodils,
Catch the breeze and the winter chills,
In colors on the snowy linen land."
"Now I think I know what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they're not listening still.
Perhaps they never will... "
