Journaling: Walking around a lake in the middle of January may not seem like an ideal date type of activity. Mark and I were still enchanted by the relative novelty of our built-in baby sitting though, so off we went. I brought my camera and didn’t bring my gloves because I figured they would get in the way. A few steps in and I mentioned that I wish I would have brought at least one. Mark immediately slipped off one of his and handed it to me. Sometimes it’s the little things that get you.
