As the year anniversary of the announcement of the demise of Simple arrives, I find myself venturing to do more daring things with my layouts. Inspired by artists such as Elsie Flannigan, Elizabeth Kartchner, Cindy Tobey, and more, I find myself wandering from the "clean & simple" look to achieve a more artistic one. I can't say I'm 100% happy with this layout, but neither am I disatisfied with it. On this layout, I used a mix of buttons, ribbon (American Crafts), stamps (Scrappy Cat) and watercolors to create an artistic look. Yes, I did have to edit this picture to death, but you get the idea of the layout!
