1.  What is Cruisin' with Paper Crafts?
Cruisin' with Paper Crafts is a 7 day Caribbean cruise featuring workshops, receptions, and activities for attendees to enjoy, including classes from Paper Crafts editors, contests, games, & prizes, one-of-a-kind projects, and products for classes including 100 papercrafted projects! It is the ultimate paper crafting retreat filled with creativity, relaxation and fun!

Cruisin' with Paper Crafts will be November 5-12, 2011 on the Carnival Liberty departing from Miami and sailing to the ports of Cozumel, Belize, Isla Roatan, and Grand Cayman.

2.  How much does Cruisin' with Paper Crafts cost?
The conference fee for Cruisin' with Paper Crafts is just $295. Cruise prices start at $711 and includes your taxes and port charges. Act quickly for your $100 shipboard credit per cabin booked.

Airfare and hotel are not included in cruise or conference fees.

3How do I register for Cruisin' with Paper Crafts?
Registration for Cruisin' with Paper Crafts is available online through the Spears travel website.

Go to www.papercraftsmag.com/cruise to check out the cruise conference information, and then click on the "Register Now" button on the Cruisin' with Paper Crafts homepage to link over to the Spears Travel website. From there, you can view details about the cruise and click "Detail and Book".

From this page you can read through payments and terms, click the "View additional details" link to see details about what is included in the cruise and a travel itinerary. Then click "Book Now" to enter your information, choose applicable cabin and complete your Cruisin' with Paper Crafts registration

You're now all set to receive all the classes, activities and cropping of Cruisin' with Paper Crafts.

4.  Is there a chance I won't make it in to the most popular classes?
At Cruisin' with Paper Crafts there is no need to scramble to get into the classes of your choice; every attendee will receive every class, every activity, and every chance for giveaways and prizes!  

5. What supplies should I bring to Cruisin' with Paper Crafts?

  • Favorite pair of straight-edge, micro-tip scissors
  • Personal 12" x 12" paper trimmer
  • Favorite adhesives, both wet and dry
  • Glue Dots
  • Black archival journaling pen
  • Paper piercer and mat
  • Regular hole punch
  • Black and brown  ink
  • Corner rounder
  • 1 3/4" circle punch
  • 2 1/4" circle punch
  • Scallop Scissors

Additional, optional supplies include a camera, paper and pen to take notes, and the tools you can't live without.

Tip: If you're coming with a friend, we suggest that you coordinate which supplies you'll each bring, and share with each other.

6. I am traveling to Cruisin' with Paper Crafts by airplane. Do FAA regulations permit me to bring my scissors?
FAA regulations do not permit passengers to bring scissors or cutting instruments of any kind in carry-on luggage. However, they may be packed in checked baggage. 7. What do I do when I arrive at Cruisin' with Paper Crafts?
The Carnival Liberty will depart from Miami, FL at 4:00 p.m. on November 5, 2011.  If purchasing the Carnival transfers you will need to arrive in the Miami airport no later than 2 pm.  A Carnival representative will meet you in the baggage claim area and direct you to the motor coach which will take you to the pier.  If you are not purchasing the transfers you must be on the ship no later than 3pm.   Boarding starts at 12 noon and continues until 3pm.  After boarding, continue on to your room, drop off your carry-on luggage, then proceed to our hospitality desk to check with Paper Crafts. Your return flight home after the cruise should not be scheduled to leave Miami airport until 11:30 am or later.

8. When can I pick up my registration packet?
Registration pickup will be on Saturday after departure and prior to the Cruisin' with Paper Crafts Welcome Reception.
You'll pick up your registration materials including an exclusive souvenir tote bag loaded with supplies, your namebadge, tickets and all the things you'll need for the Cruisin' with Paper Crafts event.

9. What is the age limit for Cruisin' with Paper Crafts students?
Students attending Cruisin' with Paper Crafts must be at least 12 years old and be able to sit and participate in classes. No children under 12 will be permitted at the event.

10. Can I cancel or transfer my Cruisin' with Paper Crafts registration?
According to our cancellation and transfer policy guidelines, yes. Please carefully check your calendar before registering for Cruisin' with Paper Crafts. For a full refund of conference fee, cancel no later than August 1, 2011.

According to the Spears Travel cancellation policy there is a deposit of $250 due upon booking. Final payment is due by August 1, 2011. If booking is cancelled, there is a nonrefundable fee of $25. There is $250 nonrefundable as of June 1, 2011, and no refund after final payment due date.

11. Will you accommodate my special needs at Cruisin' with Paper Crafts?
Of course! We want to make sure that every student has a great time at Cruisin' with Paper Crafts. If you have special needs, please notify us ahead of time so we can help make your Cruisin' with Paper Crafts experience as enjoyable as possible. 12. Is it safe to purchase products or services from other event attendees?
When planning to attend an event, you may meet groups or individuals online on various message boards or in person, selling products or services. Paper Crafts and Creative Crafts Group, LLC does not sanction or accept responsibility for these activities-- they are conducted independently by outside sources. We do want to warn you that there have been problems in the past where attendees have paid for products they didn't receive. We urge you to use your best judgment when purchasing items from independent groups or individuals.

13. Can I arrange to swap projects with fellow attendees?
As you prepare for Cruisin' with Paper Crafts, you may want to swap items at the event, such as ribbon, tags, or cards with groups or individuals you meet online. Rooms or meeting spaces for these and other outside activities should be arranged independent of the Cruisin' with Paper Crafts event. You may not sell items or conduct activities out of cabins, and any such activities cannot be in direct competition with the event. Independent swaps are not planned or conducted by Paper Crafts, and we do not accept responsibility for these activities. We urge you to use your best judgment when arranging activities with independent groups or individuals.

14.  Are airfare or hotel accommodations included in the price?
Neither airfare nor hotel accommodations are included in the price of Cruisin' with Paper Crafts admission.
