Gail Pierce-Watne

Gail Pierce-Watne may be a relative newcomer to the scrapbooking industry, but she is no amateur in the larger world of graphic design. After earning a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Utah, Gail began teaching design at university level and founded an art appreciation program at St. Vincent's Elementary School in Salt Lake City.  Now, - years later, she continues to share her knowledge and fascination of all things beautiful with students around the world.

Gail spends most of her waking hours - and even some of her sleeping ones - dreaming up new, creative ideas to share in the Making Memories book series.  She oversees a team of about 10 designers who each year produce three new, intricate idea books that demonstrate myriad ways in which scrapbooking supplies can be used in scrapbooks and in life.  In her "spare" time, she creates personal artwork and home décor items and runs marathons (she's run 15 to date), and spends time with her friends and family.  She believes her greatest accomplishment in life has been raising her 3 outstanding children, and playing with her 3 grandchildren whenever possible.

Elizabeth Kartchner

Elizabeth Kartchner has designed for numerous scrapbooking companies such as: Close To My Heart, American Crafts, Rusty Pickle, and Pebbles Inc. Her and her husband, Collin, now have 2 daughters and reside in Utah. She enjoys scrapbooking as a creative retreat and to capture the silly, everyday moments that she never wants to forget. Debby Schuh

Debby Schuh has been scrapbooking most of her life…she still has her scrapbook from when she was two years old! Her years as a teacher and in the scrapbook industry have made her a sought-after instructor at scrapbook stores and events both in the US and abroad. In addition to her design work for scrapbook companies, Debby is doing the things she enjoys most … designing classes, teaching, traveling, and meeting the students who love scrapbooking and paper arts as much as she does.

Debby’s projects have been published in Creating Keepsakes and Memory Makers publications, as well as many other books and magazines. She is the author of the book Kid’s Scrapbooking…Easy as 1, 2, 3.

As a child, Debby’s favorite books were the interactive ones with hidden flaps and pockets, and she designs her scrapbooks with those elements, too. Her classes feature paper-engineering techniques for “Wow!” moments and often use products in unexpected ways.
Debby lives near Buffalo, New York, with her husband and two college-age sons. You can read more about her on her blog at debbyschuh.typepad.com.

This is our dream job to be able to combine our love of teaching, designing and traveling and do it together.
Just Imagine!

Lori Marek

Lori remembers the moment she was introduced to "creative scrapbooking" in 1993 and she was hooked!  She didn't sleep a wink that night, as an obsession began to take hold.

Her passion for creativity and her desire to photograph and record everyday moments ultimately led to beloved keepsake albums and a fabulous career in the industry.  Lori has had the privilege of working as a product designer for the past 12 years.  The best part of her creative career is the continual collaboration with others.  Lori acknowledges clearly that inspired work happens with the hands of many. Working with others who help translate ideas and thoughts into "real" product is an amazing thing...
As a wife and mother of three plus two children, there is never a dull moment or a shortage of inspiration.    Living in Western Colorado, Lori enjoys hiking, biking and skiing with family and friends.

Trina Linford

Trina Linford began scrapbooking in her teenage years when shape templates and stickers (with the white edges) where the trend. Since then, she majored in Elementary Education and taught at-risk elementary students for 4 years. She misses teaching school, but now puts her talents to good use as the Creative Director, designer and instructor for Piggy Tales. She and her husband, Bryan are high-school sweethearts. Together they have 2 very special BOYS that keep them on their toes! Trina enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, playing the piano, and of course scrapbooking! She loves keeping up with the current scrapbook trends and techniques and sharing them with her students. See what’s new and innovative with Piggy Tales on their website and blog.

Lance Anderson

Lance is married to Mrs. Pickle, Tasha (the creative genius behind Rusty Pickle) and together they have two sweet baby pickles, Audrey (5) and Mason (3). Rusty Pickle manufactures and sells the coolest "scrapbook stuff" and then on top of that he has the opportunity to teach amazing projects all over the world designed with this “great stuff”.  While Lance will not admit he is the most creative, he is “full of it” and has a blast teaching!  Being creatively challenged at times his best source of class ideas come from his fabulous designers, aka Rusty Pickle Chefs.  A few of his favorite things are his family, pickles, his iPod and other people's food!  He also loves a day at the lake with my family and friends.
