Roberts History

In 1963, Croft and Thea Workman and their children opened their first retail store on Center Street in Provo, Utah. The first store was named Provo Craft. As Provo Craft grew, it became apparent that the retail business and the wholesale business needed to be separated.

They separated the businesses and named the retail business Roberts Arts and Crafts about 15 years ago. The family continued to operate the wholesale business as Provo Craft. Roberts Arts and Crafts has now grown to 12 retail stores and has become Utah's favorite craft store.
