Donate Your Stash to Cypress Cares

Cypress Cares is a non-profit group based in Cypress, Texas. They provide care packages and letters of encouragement to the armed forces. As part of your CKC-Tulsa experience, we encourage you to bring donations that we will give to Cypress Cares to use in their endeavors. What should you bring? A complete list of items is available on their web site (www.cypress-cares.org), but here’s a few ideas to get you started: blank cards (so the troops can write in them and send to their loved ones), letters or cards of encouragement (words from you), phone cards, paperback books, stickers (for the troops to give out to children in the area), paper and envelopes, and much more. As you’re packing for your classes and crops, remember to include a few items to donate to this great cause.
