Creativity Heals

Join Creating Keepsakes in celebrating creativity and its healing powers by participating in the "Creativity Heals" page layout contest.  Submit a one or two page layout that showcases creativity and/or the healing power of creativity.  Your creations are a legacy that only you can make and cannot be duplicated by those that come later.

Keep these important details in mind:

• Come to CKC prepared with a color copy, printout, or photograph (no originals accepted) of your "Creativity Heals" themed layout (limit one entry per person, maximum two-page spread). If you're submitting a two-page spread, be sure to tape pages together in the correct order.
• Write "Creating Keepsakes Page-Layout Contest" and your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address on the back of each page.
• Drop off your entry at the Information Desk by 12 noon on Saturday.
• Winners will be announced in the Vendor Faire on Saturday at 4:45 p.m. You must be present to win, (prizes will not be shipped.)

Judges will award prizes to first and second place winners based on applied theme, journaling, creativity and overall design. Submit only your original ideas, not ideas copied from store display samples, magazines, kits, or other designer's works. All entrants release the rights to Creating Keepsakes magazine for possible future publication.

Creativity Heals

No matter what the occasion, card makers know that creativity heals in many ways - whether you're the sender or the recipient. Enter the Paper Crafts Card Contest with your card for any occasion, from a cheery "hello" to birthday or even get well wishes. We'd also like to hear your story about how stretching your creative wings has made life better for you or anyone else, so don't forget to include it with your entry.

Keep these important details in mind:

• Bring your actual card, limit one entry per person.
• Write "Paper Crafts Card Contest" on the back, and include your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address.
• Your card is due to the Information Desk by 12 noon on Saturday.
• Winners will be announced in the Vendor Faire on Saturday at 4:45 p.m. You must be present to win, (prizes will not be shipped.)

WIN DOOR PRIZE DRAWINGS

With your purchase of a Vendor Faire daily pass, you'll receive a door prize entry ticket for each day you purchase. Drop off your ticket at the door prize entry booth inside the Vendor Faire for your chance to win prizes throughout the day. Please note that you may only enter once each day and that your entry must be completely filled out. Any multiple entries will automatically disqualify you from winning prizes.

Although we won't announce door prize winners over the microphone, visit the door prize pick-up booth to see if your name was drawn that day. You must be present to claim your prize by 6 p.m. on Friday (last drawing at 5:30 p.m.) and by 5 p.m. on Saturday (last drawing at 4:30 p.m.). All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.

On Saturday at 4:45 p.m., we'll do a drawing for grand door prize winners. We'll compile all eligible door prize entries for the two days prior to drawing. You do not need to be present to win grand door prizes; we'll notify you and mail them after the show.
